- MXPX "Let's Rock" (CD) (2006)
Product Description
Panic was an album that definitely had its own personality and these are their siblings that didn't quite fit in,' explains vocalist/bassist Mike Herrera of his band's newest collection, Let's Rock, due October 24, 2006 on SideOneDummy Records.
While Herrera might be modest about his, err, musical babies, the 12 songs found on Let's Rock are in no way throwback tracks. Consisting of mostly unreleased and rare material (some stretch back to the 2000 Ever Passing Moment recording sessions), the songs run the gamut from acoustic demos to fully-polished punk-pop anthems. Aside from "You Walk, I Run" and "Make Up Your Mind,' which were previously released on the Broken Bones 7-inch, these songs are seeing the light of day for the first time. 'You Walk, I Run,' is also stripped down to its acoustic essentials for a reprise that rounds out the collection.
