- What is my order # for, and why you should pay attention to it.

Your order number is the number we use to help find your order. It's going to look something like this Order# 100003333. This is how we locate records in our stores database of orders, it makes it really easy to look up stuff this way, so if you need to contact us it will make the response time way faster if you include your order #.
- When will my order ship?

All of our orders ship within 1-3 business days from Los Angeles, CA. We try to handle every single order the day they are recieved, but sometimes traffic backs up when we have a large volume of orders and it takes a little longer.
- Pre-orders

If you PRE-ORDERED a record or bundle PLEASE look at the release date before emailing us about the time frame in which your will recieve your order. All of our pre-orders ship 1 week before release date, which means you should get them on the day they are released.
- International Orders: How long will it take to get my order?

Shipping Methods & Info
Priority International- THIS IS FAST INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING, BUT THIS IS REALLY EXPENSIVE!
International First Class or Airmail- Using the United States Post Office, this method can take anywhere from 5-30 days (it is a post office controlled by the government, what else would you expect?). This can be longer or shorter. While this is a more affordable option, it has its drawbacks such as not being traceable while in delivery.
Disclaimers
When we ship an order out to you from LA, it COULD take between 3 – 6 weeks to get to you. This is caused by a few things; how far you are, how it’s shipped, and of course, customs. Customs is where most of the delay is. It can be released in a day or in a month. It all depends on what kind of mood they‘re in.
Depending on your country's laws, you might have to pay an import tax. This is based on certain items being over a certain value. These taxes are out of our control and we cannot pre pay these taxes. Please contact your local customs people to find out if you have these taxes and how much they are for.
With that being said, we will not mark your package as a “Sample” or as a “gift“. That's lying and lying gets you in trouble!!
- What is your return/exchange policy?

NOTE: Before making any returns/exchanges, please contact our awesome warehouse manager, Alex, at orders@sideonedummy.com. All returned orders should be sent with a tracking number. SideOneDummy is only responsible for items received and can not maintain responsibility for returns/exchanges lost in the shipping process.
All returns/exchanges should be shipped to the below address with your order number, copy of receipt (if available) and a brief explanation for the return.

Tee Shirts
We will not accept returns or exchanges on clothing that has been washed or worn. If yo recieve a shirt and don't like how it fits, or you have gained or lost weight it's totally cool! We'll exchange it for you, BUT you are responsible for the cost of shipping it back to us and the cost of us shipping you a new one. Just email orders@sideonedummy.com with your order number and the reason you want to exchange shirts and we'll advise you from there!
LP's, CD's and 7"s
If your vinyl's jacket is dinged on the corners we probably won't exchange it. Unfortunatley the post office isn't always careful. If we did this we could potentially be sending records back and forth for years before the post office gets it right. HOWEVER if your vinyl is warped or broken PLEASE hit Alex up at orders@sideonedummy.com, we love vinyl and don't want it to sound bad! If you CD's jewel case is cracked or dinged we can send you a new one as well, BUT you will be respobsible for the cost of shipping the CD back to us and the cost for us to ship you a new one, If the CD is broken or doesn't play right please email Alex at orders@sideonedummy.com and we will get your a new one! All other issues will be handled on a case by case basis!
I got the wrong stuff in my box! (that's what she said)
If you received the wrong item you can send it back to us and we will replace it with the correct one. All items should be sent back using USPS First Class or Priority Mail, you will receive a refund for the shipping cost.
